Despite a weekend full of work busily preparing to put our house on the market, it couldn't have been a better one! I never imagined how much work goes into getting a house ready to be listed. After countless trips to our new storage unit, several trips to Home Depot, dusting, vacuuming, windexing, de-cluttering, and some festive fall decorations, our perfect first home is now ON THE MARKET! We will wait and see what happens from here because selling a house isn't always a quick process, especially right now (If you know anyone house-shopping, spread the good word :) ). After cleaning the majority of the day on Saturday, I convinced Grant to go with me to A Pea in the Pod to shop for some maternity jeans. I'm convinced I'm never going back to regular jeans. They are awesome. Here are a few pics of our fall "decorations." This is about as good as it gets over here!

The tacky plastic pumpkin below has our trick-or-treat candy in it, but it was hidden when my aunt (our realtor) came over to take pictures today. I love that little baby pumpkin we picked up at Publix!
Yummm...one of my favorite things about fall is a good pot of soup and pumpkin bread. Grant made some Paula Dean taco soup that we ate all weekend, and we made this pumpkin bread this afternoon. This is considered a MAJOR "cooking" weekend in the Davis house!
Hope everyone had a great weekend, and Happy Halloween!
