Charlotte is two weeks old today! Our little family of 4 is slowly adjusting to life with our sweet baby girl. William has adjusted really well and much better than we expected, so far...He's gotten LOTS of attention from Mommy and Daddy which I know has helped. I've made a point of spending "special time" with him which has been good for both of us. This past Saturday I took him to an Easter egg hunt at Overton Park and we had the best time! He's very possessive of "Shah-luht" and likes to hold her and give her kisses. He's also very curious about how Mommy feeds Shah-luht and says her umbilical cord "boo boo" is very "gross" (which fell off at 13 days). He's spent the past couple of days in Dothan with Juju which has been AMAZING because Grant and I have gotten some one-on-one time with Charlotte and William has been spoiled rotten in Dothan. We have really missed our little wild boy and are anxious for him to get home tomorrow.

At her 1 week check-up with the pediatrician she weighed 6lbs. 6oz. so not quite up to her birth weight then. I'm thinking she's probably reached it by now because she's been on an eating frenzy the past 2 nights!
I'm hesitant to say this only being 2 weeks in, but so far going from 1 to 2 children has been an easier adjustment than going from 0 to 1. Of course we aren't sleeping and there's plenty of stressful moments, but overall I'm more relaxed and confident this go around.
Charlotte's eyes are closed most of the time. We all get so excited when she opens them because it's rare we see them.
The lighting in this picture isn't good making her eyes look dark, but they are actually lighter than William's when he was this little. My guess is that we have another blue-eyed babe :) We love you baby Charlotte!!!
