Most of these iPhone pics are really old but I wanted to dump them on the blog for the family scrapbook :)

7 Months Old

Charlotte is 7 months old! If there's one thing I'm certain about, it is that she has her mommy wrapped right around her little finger. This child owns me. She is the happiest, laid back baby with the sweetest little disposition. I'm just a little biased though ;) I think I remember saying similar things about William, and he's far from laid back so I realize her true personality might not be in full force just yet ;)

Over the past month, I started introducing baby food. So far we've tried sweet potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, bananas and peas. The only one she would not eat is peas...can't say I blame her. If she's anything like William, she will only eat baby food until she's 13 months or so.

She is still drinking five 7 oz. bottles of breast milk/day. I'm still pumping, but I plan to quit before Thanksgiving so I don't have to stress about pumping while we are in Dallas visiting Granny and the rest of the gang for Thanksgiving.

Charlotte usually takes a morning nap (time varies) and a 1 1/2 hour afternoon nap. Sometimes she'll sneak in a quick cat nap in the early evening. She goes to bed between 6:30-7pm and usually wakes up around 4am for a bottle and goes back down until 6:30 or so.
She's not quite sitting up independently yet but I think she'll master this milestone soon. I would describe her as a complacent baby. She's perfectly happy being held and doesn't do a whole lot of moving ;) She spends a lot of time in her jumperoo and still a good bit in her bouncer, although she tries to do crunches while in it, until William comes and lays on top of her.
Still NO teeth but drooling a ton!
She LOVES William, Mommy and Daddy. We recently had our first bit of separation anxiety when we left her with a babysitter. She would only stop crying if William was holding her. He takes his big brother role very seriously so I don't think he minded.
She also loves chewing on her toes!

Charlotte, what did we ever do without you?! Your sweet smiles, giggles and coos brighten our lives every single day.

Pumpkin Patch 2015

We headed to Calera for our 4th annual trip to the pumpkin patch. I love this little family tradition of ours. We hopped on the train on a Sunday afternoon just us 4. William had been talking about it for weeks so he was stoked that the time had finally arrived.

On the train headed to the patch!

Charlotte wasn't too sure about the whole experience but William loved it!

"Mommy, please get me out of the grass!"

Char, maybe you'll enjoy it a little more next year when you'll be toddling around :) William was Charlotte's age the first time we went, and he loves it even more each time we go!

Charlotte's Nursery

Before we even found out Charlotte was a girl, I planned on using most of William's nursery decor for baby #2. I loved everything about William's nursery and the sentimental touches in it.

The room looks much more pink in these pictures than it does in real life. Grant did a great job painting her room.

 Needlepoint frame from my nursery.
That just happens to match this sweet figurine from my nursery.
