Looking Back...November 21, 2009

Before I forget my favorite moments of our wedding, I've decided to recap the most wonderful weekend of my life. Marrying Grant is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is the most genuine, loving, sensitive, faithful, supportive husband, and I will be forever grateful that God put him in my life. The wedding festivities began with the Bridesmaid's luncheon at my grandparent's house.

Since I was a little girl, people have always told me that I remind them of my grandmother. Juleann embodies Southern elegance, charm, and beauty in my eyes. She would do anything in the world for me,  and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect start to the weekend.

One of my favorite things about the engagement/wedding was getting to spend lots of time with my best girlfriends. They are so special to me and I love each and every one of these girls.

I loved finally getting to introduce my beautiful sister -in- law and niece to family and friends. I feel so fortunate to have a sister -in- law as wonderful as Dana, and I'm obviously quite obsessed with my precious niece, Payton.

Friday night Grant's mother hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner at the Dothan Country Club. The toasts made by family and friends made Grant and I feel so loved and special. Grant's father's presence was felt as family members' remembered his charismatic self and how proud he would be of Grant.

Our wedding day kicked off with a New Orleans style jazz brunch hosted by Quin. There are no words to describe my great uncle Quin, nor are there words to describe how much I love him. I have never met anyone with a bigger heart than him.

Finally, it was time for the wedding. Here are some of my favorite pictures of the night.
