Beach Weekend - Part II

On Sunday, Grant and I took William to feel the sand under his toes early that morning. As you can tell from the pictures, he LOVED it! Several times a wave submerged splashed him in the face and he would just a giggle afterwards. I know for a fact he swallowed a good bit of salt water. We only stayed about 30 minutes, and he did NOT want to leave!

 The sand didn't bother him one bit!

 Wanted to get a little taste :)

He's such a big boy but looks small compared to Grant's hand!

 Grant had a death grip on him.

 Then Mommy got in on the action. I wasn't expecting to go very deep and I ended up soaked! I'd rather be behind the camera :)

He was trying to DIVE out of my arms. 

 I think we may have to sign him up for swimming lessons next summer!!

 Just like he did on the boat, he closed his eyes at the beach. Too much brightness!

I have a feeling William will have many more fun times on the beach! I didn't plan on posting every single picture we took, but I figured you only have a "first beach experience" once.
